Sodium Yttrium Fluoride:Erbium,Ytterbium

Erbium and Ytterbium doped Sodium Yttrium Fluoride is available as a 99.9 pure (metals basis) powder in large batch quantities. This phosphor material emits as an intense green (550nm), red, orange, or weak blue (when Thulium replaces Erbium) phosphor depending on the synthesized composition. These are all low-micron powders with pale body composition and are excited by a 980nm laser (a convenient laser pen may be used).
